Petanque Club

Our Mission
“Provide an environment for playing casual and competition pétanque in a spirit of friendship, solidarity and fair play.”

We provide opportunities of social play, Club competitions, NSW Petanque League competitions, National competitions and for those who are selected to be a 'Bouleroo' opportunities to represent Australia nationally and internationally.

Playing petanque
Our playing venues are in amazing locations, similar to those found in French villages. Our home ground at Latham Park Boulodome and the ground at Centennial Park are tree lined open spaces with plenty of shade, Ballast Point and Pyrmont are both perfect set-ups for petanque with wonderful terrain and views.

We play Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 1:30 pm and most Sundays at Latham Park, Rankwick Boulodrome, South Coogee with some games at other venues, including Ballast Point, Birchgrove (often on Saturdays), Pyrmont Park (adjoining Pirrama Park) and occasionally at Centennial Park. (See ‘Venues’ page for directions.)

If you are interested in coming or learning to play, please complete the form on our Contact page.
New players are welcome, and if you are already a member, we look forward to seeing you on the piste soon.

Petanque is a fun and exciting game that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. If you're interested in learning more about the game and its rules or simply enjoying a nice social atmosphere and 'having a go', please check the News section of the site.
