YOUTH TRANS-TASMAN - 2nd & 3rd November 2008
Message from PFA president...
"All,
Please find attached a report on the Junior Trans Tasman series from our National Director of Coaching.
Wonderful example of what can be achieved by some of our members, JF Veyssiere and David Lippard (NZ) must be congratulated on the idea and concept.

Let’s all get involved and contribute, this year more than ever a large number of players have been selected to represent Australia in tournament overseas, note that the selection has been open to a wider number of our members.
It has to be beneficial for our game the more of our players are exposed to those events the better our game will be.

Well done to the coaches involved and our young players.
Thanks to all the clubs and individuals who have contributed financially to the junior travelling fund.

National Director of Coaching report

INTERSTATES 2008
The Interstates competition will be held at the France Petanque Club in Tempe, NSW on November Sat 15th and Sun 16th.
All states NSW, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC and WA will be represented.

Competition concluded: NSW won in the Open and in the over 60 Competition.

Australian National Triples 2009
The 2009 National Open will he held at the Subiaco Petanque Club in Western Australia.
