Covid-19 Rules & Safety plan

As we're all aware, there's a need to comply with National and State regulations in those hard times, hence driving into having to put a 'Covid Safety Plan' in place. The safety plan is made available to the Police and to the Council at any time, to members and to the general public for when anyone visits any of our venues on playing days.

In a few dot points, please abstain from playing and/or visiting our playing venues if you have:

  • a cold, running nose, sore throat, shortness of breath, a fever

  • visited anyone with these symptoms

  • arrived from overseas in the past 14 days

  • had contact with anyone with a confirmed case of Covid-19 in the last 14 days

When playing at any of the venues, some of the important rules are:

  • to maintain a distaince of at least two (2) metres between youself and others, at all times

  • not to touch anyone oand/or playing accessories that are not yours

  • to take extra care when picking up your boules and let others pick up their boules and move away before you pick up yours.

  • to sanitise your hands on arrival and at other times

  • to ensure there is a vacant piste between your game and another game

  • for each team to provide their own jack, and for the team jack thrower to be the only one to throw that jack

  • for each team to nominate one in player in each team to conduct measurements
